For all my sports fans...

…Let’s talk Yankees Baseball, shall we? What is up? We finally start winning some games but is it really that exciting?!?! Do you really feel satisfied?!! It’s Pittsburgh. Is that supposed to erase the embarrassment of getting swept by Milwaukee AND Kansas City? Now I realize we cannot win EVERY year, but, I don’t want to be embarrassed either. I see Giambi has finally gotten back on board. Let’s hope he keeps it up. He can carry us all the way to the playoffs. But will that mean the end of Tino??? Hmmm. Glad to see Bernie back in Center Field. Lets take care of our veterans. We wouldn’t be so great if not for them. This season has done one great thing though. It has finally shut all those bitter baseball fans up about how their team would win all the time too if they had a payroll as high as the Yankees payroll. This season has proved that money means nothing. You need talent, you need heart, you need ball players, you need DEREK JETER. The face of baseball, in my opinion.

Ok, let’s change gears. What is the deal with Ultimate Fighting Championship?? How exciting! Why isn’t it more publicized? It is much more exciting then boxing, much more serious then wrestling and safer then both. There has never been a competitor seriously injured in a UFC event. When they have had enough, they simply tap out and the match is over, just like that. First time I watched it, I was hooked. Combining the disciplines of wrestling, karate, kick-boxing, jiu-jitsu and boxing. It’s got a little bit of everything. These guys are professional fighters and some are a little scary, like, Andre Arlovski, yikes, but they sure do take a beating. The welterweights are my favorite because they just toss each other around the Octagon. It is pretty entertaining! Check out the next event on Aug 6th on Spike TV. You’ll be hooked too!
